Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 May 2026

This policy is provided as a starting template aligned with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the NDPR. It is not legal advice — please have it reviewed by qualified counsel and a registered Data Protection Compliance Organisation (DPCO) before relying on it commercially.

Juno INC (“Juno”, “we”, “us”) operates ARIA, an AI assistant that helps real-estate agencies respond to buyers on WhatsApp, Instagram and the web. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (the “Act”) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (“NDPR”).

1. Who is responsible for your data

For data collected through this website, Juno INC is the data controller. You can reach our data protection contact at privacy@juno-inc.com.

2. What we collect

When you submit the “Get started” onboarding form, we collect:

  • Your agency name and your name
  • Your email address and WhatsApp / phone number
  • The plan you are interested in and, optionally, your city
  • Where your listing photos are stored (cloud, website or offline)
  • Any additional notes you choose to share

We also process limited technical data needed to keep the form secure, such as your IP address (used only for rate-limiting and abuse prevention). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

3. Why we use it (lawful basis)

  • Your consent and our steps to enter a contract — to contact you and set up ARIA for your agency.
  • Legitimate interest — to secure our systems against spam and abuse, and to improve our service.

We will not use your details for unrelated marketing without asking you first, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers (data processors) that help us run ARIA, under agreements that require them to protect it. These may include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers (e.g. Railway, Cloudflare)
  • Messaging providers (e.g. Twilio for WhatsApp, Meta for Instagram)
  • Email delivery (e.g. Resend)
  • AI processing for replies (e.g. OpenAI)
  • Image hosting where you opt in (e.g. Cloudinary)

Some of these providers process data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on the transfer safeguards permitted under the Act.

5. How long we keep it

We keep onboarding details only as long as needed to respond to your request and, if you become a customer, to provide the service. If you do not proceed, we delete or anonymise the request within a reasonable period. You may ask us to delete it sooner (see your rights below).

6. Your rights

Under the Act and NDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC)

To exercise any of these, email privacy@juno-inc.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by the Act.

7. How we protect your data

We use HTTPS for all traffic, restrict access to your data on a need-to-know basis, and apply spam and rate-limit controls on our forms. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to keep your information safe.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
